Mickey Mouse's House

I debated for a long time about Disney....Is it really worth all that money (we are talking about $400 for our family admissions alone)? But finally I decided that we needed to do it. It was the best day EVER. We were there at 9am when they opened and left after the nightly fireworks that night. The kids LOVED IT. We didn't have many lines to wait in. We were able to ride every ride that we had wanted to.

Vacation Post 2--Celebration Fountain

We found this really cool fountain that came up out of the ground and went one afternoon to let the kids play in it. It was pretty chilly, with all of the adults in jeans and jackets, but the kids had a great time playing in the water.

Grandma and Grandpa found a baby alligator in the river right next to the fountain.

Vacation-Post 1-Boggy Creek

We have a timeshare. We have paid a lot of money each year for the last three years for this time share. We were about to loose a week because we haven't been able to take a vacation in the last three years, so we just did it.

We spent the last week in Florida with my parents. It was FABULOUS!!! I will post a few different posts about some of the fun activities we did.

Mom and Dad took us on an air boat ride! It was incredible. We rode through shallow water over top of the water grass and other plants. We saw two different Alligators, and a bunch of other animals. It was so cool!

Things that mom always says

The other day I was in my bedroom folding laundry, the children were playing just outside the closed door and I overheard the following conversation:

Loud talking and playing....

Austin: Quiet, you know what mom always says....

Silence from the two smaller children

Austin: "Go play in the basement!"

Ryan: No, mom always says, "Go fart in the bathroom."

So I will go down in history as the mom who tells her stinky kids to go play in the basement, or do their business in the bathroom...the worst part is, they were both right, I do say those things all the time!
