The weekend before school started we decided to take a overnight trip. Some friends had recently taken a little trip so we decided to copy them. We left home on Friday morning and drove 2.5 hours to Cape May New Jersey. While there we went to a zoo.
It was a pretty little zoo, it took us two hours to see everything in it, but that was just perfect for our family. We got to see lots of fun animals. The zoo is in a forest, so there was shade everywhere. And, the best part, it was free! There was also a large playground near by that we will plan to go to next time.

we tried to go on little trips a couple of years ago, but only did it twice. I think we might try it again. It seems like you all had a good time.
