Ry's funny

Yesterday we were driving and there was a no parking sign on the side of the road. Ryan noticed it and said, "Look, a P!" Now, for those of you who don't know we are working on Ryan recognizing letters, we forgot that we actually had to teach the child this and it wasn't one of those naturally emerging things.

He goes on to say, "Look, the P is exed out." That would be exed, as in rhymes with text.

He then says, "That means you can't pee on the grass."

Hahaha, "no, that means you can't park on the side of the road."

A minute of silence and he corrects me, "No mom, a exed out P means no peeing on the grass."

Thank goodness they have those signs all over, now I will never worry about picnicking on the grass in Havre de Grace...although I worry that the people in the city are misunderstanding the big signs where the P is not exed out...is that why it smells so foul sometimes?

I love it! What a smart boy! At least he knows not to pee outside.

He is such a doll! Vivian just asked me about him. Out of the blue. I can't wait for Ry to start driving. He'll be parking in all the wrong spots and wetting his pants because there are signs everywhere telling him not to pee! ;)
Miss your guts!

does that mean if there isn't a "no pee" sign, then it is fair game? uh oh!

Love it! Hard to know what to say when little guys are so certain and determined they know the truth and you as parent have it all wrong. Smart of you to write it down so he can read it later!
