A week or so ago we went to the apple farm and picked apples. We took a small ride out to the trees.
The farm had three different kinds of apples growing.
These were the red delicious. There were so many apples!

I didn't really think about what we were going to do with all of these apples. My kids like apples and eat them all the time. But 20pounds of apples sure is a lot! I decided to make applesauce.
I found a recipe on line. 4 apples chopped, 1/4 cup sugar, 3/4 cup water, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Throw it all in a crockpot on high for three hours and you have applesauce.

I wonder if you can freeze your applesauce. Hmmm...

The fireplace is on the left side of the room. It has been there for quite a while...I should have you over more!
